
Emir of Qatar Visits Uzbekistan to Strengthen Bilateral Relations and Explore Investment Opportunities
The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, welcomed Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, during his state visit to Uzbekistan. This visit marks an important step in enhancing the multidimensional relations between the two nations.
The leaders of Uzbekistan and Qatar engaged in productive discussions aimed at fostering closer political dialogues, cultural and human exchanges, and implementing substantial investment projects across various sectors. As part of the state visit, Emir Tamim and President Mirziyoyev embarked on a tour of the historic city of Samarkand, accompanied by Nazarbekov Ozodbek Ahmadovich, the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Uzbekistan.
