The World Tourism Forum Institute is pleased to introduce a new member of its Advisory board – Angela Gerekou, an Ambassador for Tourism in ICC Hellas and an honorable member for Hellenic association women in culture and tourism.
She was born and raised in Greece, Corfu Island. Since August 2019, Angela Gerekou has been president of the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO). And now, she became a new member of our WTFI “family”.
“It is an honour for me to be part of the advisory board of the World Tourism Forum Institute next to such an important executive council and important board members. I am deeply committed to its mission for a resilient future in the tourism industry,” Gerekou said.
“I look forward for this exchange with this unique team to continue to shine a light on the most important issues of the world most valuable social economic cultural sector and of course an important sector for our country such as the travel industry,” the GNTO’s president added.
She represents a good asset to be more accurate in execution, to challenge us on our business strategy and to give us precious advice.
