The Minister of the Economy, Issa Doubragne and the Chairman of the Executive Council of the World Tourism Forum Institute (WTFI), Bulut BAĞCI signed on Sunday, May 9, 2021 a memorandum of understanding related to the economy.
The President of the Executive Council of the WTFI, Bulut BAĞCI is committed on behalf of his institution to support Chad in the diversification of its economy; to promote and strengthen the image of Chad at the international level through conferences, WTFI master classes and international media; to contribute to the development of a strategy aimed at attracting and settling foreign investors in Chad; to set up a partnership with Chad to seek financing for the economic development of Chad; to promote the establishment of free zones in Chad; and many others.
The Minister of the Economy, Development Planning and International Cooperation (MEPDCI), for his part, pledges to help to bring foreign investors and Chadian entrepreneurs closer together; to work for a public private partnership (PPP); to guarantee tax and customs facilities through establishment agreements; to ensure the legal protection of investments; and secure property and people working for companies based in Chad.
